Itinerary
- Day 1: Welcome to Split – Wine & Olive Oil Experience
After landing at Split Airport, your private driver transfers you to your hotel in the heart of the city. Split is built around Diocletian’s Palace — a Roman emperor’s retirement home continuously inhabited for 1,700 years. According to UNESCO, it is one of the most remarkable examples of Roman architecture anywhere in the world.
Once settled, your first evening begins with an expertly guided wine and olive oil tasting. Croatia’s Dalmatian hinterland produces exceptional indigenous varieties — Plavac Mali, Pošip, and Grk — that rarely leave local borders. Your host walks you through each varietal paired with locally pressed olive oil from centuries-old Dalmatian groves.
It’s a delicious and deeply local start to four days of Croatia island hopping from Split.
Highlights: Private airport transfer, wine & olive oil tasting, Split orientation

- Day 2: Split & Trogir Old Town Walking Tour
After breakfast, your private guide leads you through two UNESCO World Heritage towns in a single morning. Split has grown into a buzzing modern city layered over Roman foundations. Trogir, by contrast, has preserved its medieval character almost entirely intact.
Inside Diocletian’s Palace, you’ll descend into the atmospheric vaulted cellars — a feat of Roman engineering still largely intact. The Cathedral of Saint Domnius, built inside the emperor’s mausoleum, is one of the oldest cathedrals in the world still in active use.
In Trogir, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence is the highlight. Its 13th-century Romanesque portal, carved by master sculptor Radovan, is considered the finest example of medieval sculpture on the Adriatic. In the evening, your guide recommends Split’s best local restaurants for fresh catch, truffle pasta, and a glass of Dalmatian wine.
Highlights: Diocletian’s Palace cellars, Cathedral of Saint Domnius, UNESCO Trogir, St. Lawrence Cathedral, Mediterranean dinner

- Day 3: Croatia Island Hopping from Split: Hvar & Pakleni Islands
Your private motorboat departs Split harbour in the morning, crossing the blue-green Adriatic toward Hvar. The approach to Hvar Town — its Venetian loggia, hilltop fortress, and palm-lined promenade reflected in calm water — is one of the most photographed arrivals in all of Croatia.
Ashore, your guide takes you through Hvar’s marble-paved piazza, the largest in Dalmatia, and into the Hvar Theatre — founded in 1612, one of the oldest municipal theatres in Europe. Beyond town, the interior unfolds into fields of lavender, rosemary, and ancient stone-walled vineyards.
After exploring Hvar, your boat moves on to the Pakleni Islands. Lunch is served at anchor in one of the most beautiful hidden bays on the entire Adriatic. You’ll return to Split by late afternoon, sun-warm and well-fed.
Highlights: Private motorboat, Hvar old town, Europe’s oldest public theatre, lavender fields, Pakleni Islands lunch

- Day 4: Departure from Split
Your final morning is your own. Take a last walk through Diocletian’s Palace at dawn before the crowds arrive, pick up a bottle of local Plavac Mali from the Green Market, or sit with a coffee on the Riva promenade watching the Adriatic turn gold.
When it’s time, your private driver collects you from the hotel and transfers you to Split Airport. Four days of Croatia island hopping from Split — ancient palaces, hidden bays, wine-soaked hillsides, and the deep blue Adriatic — ends here. The memories do not.
Highlights: Final morning in Split, Riva promenade stroll, private airport transfer
