About This Trip
Panama lets families see rainforest, a working canal and a Caribbean-to-Pacific coastline without long transfers between every stop. This 7-day private trip is built around kids: a train through the jungle, a tram above the treetops, a canoe on the Chagres River and three nights at the beach to finish.
You start in Panama City with the colonial streets of Casco Viejo, then spend two days in the rainforest around Gamboa, where sloths, toucans and howler monkeys live. You also watch ships pass through the Panama Canal's locks. The last three days are at Playa Blanca, with calm water, kayaks and paddleboards, and a free day for an optional trip inland. The trip is tailor-made, so we can adjust the pace for toddlers, school-age kids or teenagers.
