- Day 1: Zagreb and Plitvice Lakes
Your driver meets you at Zagreb airport and takes you straight to Plitvice Lakes National Park, about two hours away. Walk the wooden boardwalks between 16 terraced lakes and past waterfalls, where the water changes from turquoise to green as the light moves. Overnight near the park.

Cross into Montenegro and start at Perast, where a short boat ride reaches Our Lady of the Rocks, an island chapel built on a reef. Continue to Kotor, a walled Venetian town at the head of Europe’s southernmost fjord-like bay, and wander its old streets or climb the fortress walls. If time allows, finish at Budva’s old town.
