2. Do you charge a booking fee for cruises?
No. Royal Air Trip charges zero booking fees on cruise bookings. You pay for your cruise — cabin, taxes, and any optional add-ons — and nothing else. Our income comes from cruise line commissions, not passenger surcharges.
3. Can you include flights in my cruise package?
Yes. Royal Air Trip offers Fly & Cruise packages that combine your cruise cabin with international flights at our exclusive consolidator rates, port transfers, and pre- or post-cruise hotel nights. This is particularly valuable for international departure ports like Barcelona, Rome, Singapore, or Sydney.

5. How far in advance should I book my cruise?
For most ocean cruises, booking 4–6 months in advance provides the best combination of cabin availability and pricing. For peak season sailings (Christmas, New Year, summer Mediterranean), book 8–12 months ahead. For Alaska, book 9–12 months ahead. For Antarctica and expedition cruises, 12–18 months is recommended as these voyages sell out very early.
6. Do you offer group cruise packages?
Yes. Groups of 8 or more passengers typically qualify for group cabin pricing, which can be significantly lower than standard fares. We also arrange group amenities including onboard credits, private dining reservations, group shore excursions, and sometimes a private group event onboard. 7. What is included in the cruise price?
Standard cruise prices include your cabin accommodation, most onboard meals, most onboard entertainment, and port-to-port transportation. Not typically included: gratuities, alcoholic beverages, specialty dining, shore excursions, spa services, and WiFi — though these vary by cruise line and fare type. Luxury cruise lines often include most or all of these items. Your Royal Air Trip agent will clarify exactly what is and isn't included for your specific booking.
8. Do I need travel insurance for a cruise?
Royal Air Trip strongly recommends travel insurance for all cruise bookings. Cruise deposits are typically non-refundable after a certain point, and medical emergencies at sea can be extremely expensive without coverage. We can arrange thorough cruise travel insurance as part of your booking package.
9. What documents do I need for a cruise?
At minimum, you will need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond your return date. Some cruises — particularly Caribbean ones — may allow US citizens to travel with an enhanced driver's license or WHTI-compliant document, but a passport is always the safest choice. Some itineraries also require visas for specific ports of call. Your Royal Air Trip agent will advise you on all documentation requirements for your specific itinerary.
10. Can you arrange a cruise for a special occasion?
Absolutely. Royal Air Trip regularly arranges honeymoon cruises, anniversary voyages, birthday celebrations, and other special occasion sailings.
